Artist in Residence – The Cliburn

The Chandor Gardens Foundation in collaboration with The Cliburn in Fort Worth, hosts an evening with Italian pianist Leonardo Pierdomenico in the Great Room of the Chandor Gardens mansion.  Born in Pescara, Mr. Pierdomenico graduated from the Luisa D’Annunzio conservatory there, then studied at the Fiesole School of Music.  He won the 2011 Premio Venezia piano competition in Venice and was a semifinalist at the 2016 Queen Elizabeth Competition, and was named a fellow of the 2016 Music Academy of the West Festival in Santa Barbara.  He was awarded a medal for his artistic achievements by Italian President Giorgio Napolitano.

Join us at the Gardens as we usher in the fall season with our annual Autumn Art Walk! Area artists will be set up around the gardens demonstrating and selling a wide variety of their unique handmade artwork. Enjoy Live music, tasty food and tours of the house and gardens.

Holiday Open House

Chandor Gardens Annual Holiday Open House is held in conjunction with the Parker County Heritage Society's Candlelight Tour of Homes. The Mansion and Gardens are decorated for the Holiday and area choirs and musicians entertain throughout the day. Cookies and refreshments are served, and docents educate visitors on the history of the Gardens.
